Company 20th Aniversary Celebration

To celebrate Abtec's twentieth Anniversary, MD Andy Beynon laid on a surprise day out for his staff, who met at Market Harborough station on 11 June with the destination still a mystery.

Once in London all was revealed; the morning activity transpired to be a fun visit to the London Dungeons, to be scared witless by Jack the Ripper amongst other things!

With nerves restored by a hearty lunch at the Dickens Inn in St Katherine’s Dock the party went on to spend an exhilarating afternoon on the Thames aboard an outboard “Rib” inflatable. They travelled up river toward the Houses of Parliament then down past the O2 arena and the London Eye to the Thames Flood Barrier beyond - despite the odd hairy moment no one fell in, and all returned safely.

A light hearted ‘Award Ceremony’ closed the activities, and after a reviving drink it was back to Market Harborough for an enjoyable Indian meal, with the hardy few finishing with an evening on the town.

All in all, aided by brilliant weather, everyone had a fantastic and memorable day.

Here’s to Abtec’s next twenty years!
